DUMPLING MAKING VIDEO TUTORIAL

INGREDIENTS LIST

The Dough

  • 200g - All-purpose flour (approximately 30 dumplings)
  • 2g - Salt
  • 100g - Water

Pork & Chive Filling

  • 1/2 pound - Ground pork
  • 1/2 cup - Chinese chives (finely chopped)
  • 1/8 tsp - Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp - Chinese Shaoxing wine
  • 1/4 tsp - Sesame oil

Vegetables Filling

  • 450g - Shiitake mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup - Chinese chives (finely chopped)
  • 450g - Snow pea leaves or baby bok choy
  • 1/8 tsp - Salt
  • 1/4 tsp - Sesame oil

Dipping Sauce

  • Soy sauce
  • Chinese black vinegar
  • Chili oil

preparation

Dough

  1. Mix salt and flour on a clean surface or in a large bowl.  
  2. Slowly add water divided into three intervals while continuing to knead the dough for about 15 minutes until it’s very soft and smooth.
  3. Wrap dough with saran wrap and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  4. To create the dumpling skin, roll the dough flat then use our dumpling skin cutter.

Filling

  1. Place ingredients into a mixing bowl. Mix well together in a one direction circular motion.
  2. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until ready to make. 

Make Dumplings Effortlessly With Our Kit

  1. Lightly dust a clean surface with flour.
  2. Roll the dough flat then use our dumpling skin cutter.
  3. Place dumpling skin on the dumpling maker mold. 
  4. Use stuffing spoon to put some filling on the dough.
  5. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.
  6. Fold and press to seal the dumpling.
  7. Place dumplings into a bamboo steamer with silicone mat provided or parchment paper (with holes).
  8. Bring a pot of water to boil, then add the bamboo steamer. Steam for 7 minutes. 
  9. Enjoy with dipping sauce!
